Justin Huber got the call up to replace Sweeney on the roster. He's been hitting the cover off the ball in Huber was originally signed by the New York Mets as a non-drafted free agent in July of 2000. The Royals traded Jose Bautista to the Mets in exchange for Huber on July 30, 2004.
