The Royals made several roster moves in an attempt to pare the roster down for opening day. The moves were as follows...

Optioned to Omaha:

• Brian Bannister
• Kenny Ray
• Alex Gonzalez (who probably won’t report)
• Shane Costa
  

Optioned to the Minor League Camp:

• Paul Phillips
• Fernando Cortez
• Jason Standridge
• Zach Day

Put on the DL:

• Luke Hudson
• Leo Nunez
• Scott Elarton
• John Bale

The Royals have 26 men in camp now. So, one more will be cut before opening day on Monday
